Amavii Blog
Introductions
Amavii is comprised of an interdisciplinary team of engineers, research scientists, and graduate students from the University of Pennsylvania. Our product is a revolutionary technology for studying traumatic brain injury at the cell level in real time. We feel privileged to collaborate with the CAI and NIH and are passionate about bringing innovative technologies to market. We plan to license this device to research institutions and the biomedical industry to develop novel therapies for the millions of people worldwide who suffer from this incurable disease.
Our team was selected from a competitive pool of applicants to present a poster at NeuroLaunch's first ever Investor Demo Day at Atlanta Tech Village, in Atlanta, Georgia in February 2015. We met with over 80 local and international investors who are interested in supporting upcoming startups.
During the NeuroStartUp Challenge, our company name was NeuroExP. We have since rebranded our team name to more accurately reflect our mission: compassion in medicine.
